Physical activities and motor skills possess a structure dictated by sequences and forms (topography) that are appropriate to them.
Students often have to learn many physical movements, called motor skills, as part of their education.
The basic situation with motor skills is the need to polish the topog- raphy (form) of the response and refine and ensure that the sequence is optimal.
Parents can help their children pay attention to the sequence of motor skills by guiding them, for example, through the strokes involved in writ- ing letters or in tracing and drawing.
In the case of learning physical motor skills, the child's attention should be focused on the sequence of events and the shape of the responses.
